Mold Maker

Location: Chaska, Minnesota, United States; onsite at the Chaska facility. Relocation assistance is available for candidates who do not live nearby.

Compensation: $34.00–$40.00+ per hour based on experience, plus shift differential and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

What you will do

• Build new molds and mold inserts for existing tooling.
• Repair, revise, assemble, clean, and maintain production molds.
• Operate CNC mills, CNC EDMs, and CNC lathes in the tool room.
• Program CNC mills and lathes using Mastercam.
• Troubleshoot mold cycling, mold function in presses, tooling, and fixtures.
• Maintain mold files and complete job-related documentation while supporting production teams.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in mold making.
• Two-year degree in mold making or completion of a qualified apprenticeship program.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks or Creo and CNC programming with Mastercam.
• Mechanical troubleshooting, problem-solving, work-instruction, mathematics, and computer data-entry skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand throughout the shift, perform repetitive hand and wrist movements, and detect visual quality defects.
• Ability to work onsite in Chaska, Minnesota, including overtime and on-call schedules; hirify.global does not provide immigration sponsorship.
