Mold Technician (Injection Molding)

Location: Chaska, Minnesota, United States; onsite, primarily 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, Monday–Friday

Salary: $21–$27 per hour, plus a $1.25 shift differential, annual bonus eligibility, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

What you will do

• Set up injection molding production runs and maintain auxiliary equipment, including water units, temperature controllers, robots, and end-of-arm tooling.
• Hang and remove molds, perform barrel changes, complete mold inspections, and carry out setup, shutdown, and barrel purge procedures.
• Monitor molded parts for visual and dimensional conformity and take corrective action or escalate quality issues.
• Complete press TPMs, job packets, and required production documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen events, 6S, waste elimination, and other process improvements.
• Support production goals while maintaining safety, quality, and reliable production flow.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Three to five years of mechanical or injection molding setup experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, attention to detail, and experience with powered hand tools, fasteners, and measurement devices.
• Basic math, computer literacy, accurate data entry, and the ability to read and follow written instructions; SAP experience preferred.
• Ability to kneel, crawl, crouch, work in confined spaces, stand and walk throughout the shift, and lift up to 60 pounds.
