Equipment & Yard Supervisor

Location: Ottawa, ON, Canada; on-site work indoors and outdoors year-round with travel to other auction sites when necessary.

Salary: CAD 26.52–33.15 per hour

What you will do

• Identify, inspect, organize, display, and process equipment entering and leaving the auction yard.
• Manage and implement hirify.global Inspection Operations standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Oversee refurbishing schedules, budgets, quality control, and accounting.
• Coordinate yard, operations, and sales activities and improve Yard and DEI processes.
• Support inspections and appraisals on the road and oversee the production of sale advertising materials.
• Monitor key performance indicators and promote health and safety across the auction site.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of related work experience.
• Valid, clean driver's license.
• Ability to climb on and off large equipment and trucks.
• Ability to work on-site in Ottawa, indoors and outdoors year-round.
• Availability for regular overtime, weekend auction hours, and extended hours before, during, and after sales.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
