Production Planner (Manufacturing)

Location: 100% in-office in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada; remote work is not offered.

Salary: CAD 34.43–39.76

What you will do

• Develop and maintain production plans based on customer demand, forecasts, material readiness, and manufacturing capacity.
• Review customer orders and demand signals to validate production requirements and lead-time alignment.
• Analyze labor, equipment, and material capacity to identify constraints and support planning decisions.
• Use ERP systems, preferably INFOR, to analyze demand, plan production requirements, and support manufacturing execution.
• Coordinate with Production, Fabrication, Engineering, Supply Chain, Materials Planning, and Customer Service teams.
• Identify improvements to planning accuracy, lead times, ERP data quality, reporting, and lean processes such as Kanban and visual management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in production or manufacturing planning.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; INFOR experience is preferred.
• Strong Excel, data analysis, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and capacity planning.
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
