Quality & Compliance Specialist

Location: Tonawanda, New York, United States. Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM EST. The posting lists the role as non-remote.

Salary: $21.14–$29.59 USD per hour

What you will do

• Review customs entries and related documentation for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
• Verify tariff classifications and apply missing tariff codes using approved databases, SOPs, tariff resources, and government websites.
• Review shipments before release and obtain missing or incomplete compliance documentation from customers.
• Audit shipments processed through automated systems, investigate ABI errors and Census warnings, and make corrections required for CBP acceptance.
• Ensure shipments subject to Other Government Agency requirements comply with applicable regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams, provide training and feedback, and support continuous process improvement, including AI enhancements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least three years of business or customer service experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work independently and collaboratively.
• Availability for the stated schedule in Tonawanda, New York, United States.
