Customs Brokerage Agent (Logistics)

Location: 5250 S Virginia St, Reno, NV 89502, USA; must be local

Salary: $22.00–$28.00 per hour

What you will do

• Manage the smooth and timely movement and clearance of freight.
• Enter shipment data accurately into the operational system and track and trace shipments.
• Communicate proactively with internal and external customers, service providers, and government agencies.
• Process client billing accurately and resolve billing disputes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, external regulations, SOPs, and KPIs.
• Complete cross-training and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Prior knowledge or experience with industry-specific qualifications.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Clear and concise communication, active listening, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of software development principles, data structures, APIs, integrations, and system architecture.
• Must be local to the Reno, Nevada location.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power Automate, Microsoft Copilot, and Microsoft 365 technologies.
• Basic knowledge of AI, machine learning, LLMs, and prompt engineering.
• Experience developing automations, applications, or digital solutions.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects or working in logistics, finance, operations, or enterprise shared services.
• Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform, Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, or related technologies.
