Customer Service Representative - Customs Brokerage (Logistics)

What you will do

• Ensure smooth and timely customs process flow.
• Enter accurate data into the operational system and track customs files and reports.
• Prepare accurate and timely client billing.
• Interpret import and export Desk Level Operating Procedures to fulfill customer instructions.
• Transfer customs declaration information into the customs entry system.
• Verify declaration information, submit it to customs authorities, and maintain regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Knowledge of customs brokerage processes and customs legislation, including classification, valuation, and origin.
• Understanding of ocean, road, and air documentation processes.
• Effective interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills.
• Proactive approach and proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word.
• Fluent English required.
