Setter (APU 2-C) (Injection Molding)

Location: Buffalo Grove, Illinois, United States; onsite manufacturing role

Salary: $25.00–$40.00 USD per hour, plus a 10% night-shift differential.

What you will do

• Start up, operate, and monitor injection molding, assembly, packaging, automated, and robotic equipment.
• Load validated machine parameters and programs, align automated systems, and verify product quality against specifications.
• Perform visual inspections, line clearances, cycle checks, mold cleaning, mold changes, color changes, and material-lot changes.
• Troubleshoot small and mid-size process issues, respond to alarms, and escalate problems to Level 2 Setters or Maintenance.
• Complete Level 1 Total Productive Maintenance, maintain traceability documentation, and perform lockout/tagout on unsafe equipment.
• Support Lean initiatives, process improvements, ISO, GMP, health and safety, and standard work procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for 90% of the shift.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, grab, and climb; must satisfy job vision-testing requirements.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Basic math, PC, and mechanical skills.

• Injection molding or robotic equipment knowledge.
