Lead Manufacturing Associate (Injection Molding)

Location: Clifton Park, New York, United States; onsite, first shift 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., Monday–Friday

Salary: $22.80–$31.00 per hour

What you will do

• Lead daily manufacturing activities for injection molding and packaging operations.
• Ensure safe production, product quality, material utilization, and adherence to the production schedule.
• Troubleshoot, start up, and shut down injection molding machines.
• Evaluate molds and tooling, coordinate maintenance issues, and ensure proper tooling care and storage.
• Assign, track, plan, and complete production orders while preparing for production meetings.
• Train, guide, and hold team members accountable for safety, attendance, performance, and department procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma with 3+ years of manufacturing experience, or an associate’s degree with prior experience.
• Prior management or lead experience and experience with plastic injection molding, packaging, or similar manufacturing.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, root-cause analysis, and production problem resolution.
• Ability to read drawings and use measuring equipment such as calipers and rulers.
• Ability to learn SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word; additional Microsoft Office experience is desirable.
• Ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive processes, lift up to 30 pounds, and remain flexible to cover shifts as needed.

Nice to have

• Cleanroom manufacturing experience.
• Associate’s degree.
• Experience with Microsoft Project and PowerPoint.
