Setter (APU 3-D)

Location: Onsite in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, United States. Night shift: 6:00 PM–6:00 AM on a 223 schedule. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States.

Salary: $25.00–$40.00 USD per hour, plus a 10% night-shift differential.

What you will do

• Set up, start, operate, and monitor injection molding, assembly, packaging, auxiliary, automated, and robotic equipment.
• Load validated cycle parameters and programs, align automated systems, and verify product quality at startup.
• Inspect products, perform line clearances, complete startup batches, and maintain traceability documentation.
• Pull and set molds, clean injection molds, perform color and material-lot changes, and respond to equipment alarms.
• Troubleshoot small and mid-size process issues and escalate problems to higher-level setters or maintenance.
• Perform Level 1 TPM, LOTO, cycle checklists, lean initiatives, process improvements, and safety and quality procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for 90% of the shift.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, grab, and climb.
• Ability to satisfy job-related vision testing requirements.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Basic math, PC, and mechanical skills.
• Injection molding or robotic equipment knowledge.
