Setter (APU 3-C) (Injection Molding)

Location: Onsite in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, United States. The position follows a 223 nights, 12-hour schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Salary: $25.00–$40.00 USD per hour, plus a 10% night-shift differential.

What you will do

• Start up, operate, and monitor injection molding, assembly, packaging, auxiliary, automated, and robotic equipment.
• Load validated machine parameters and programs, align robotic systems, and ensure production runs to specification.
• Inspect products, retrieve quality documentation, complete line clearances, cycle checklists, and traceability records.
• Pull and set molds, clean injection molds, perform color and material-lot changes, and complete startup batches for product changes.
• Troubleshoot small and mid-size process issues, respond to alarms, and escalate problems to higher-level setters or maintenance.
• Perform Level 1 TPM, lockout/tagout, lean initiatives, process improvements, and required safety and quality activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for 90% of the shift.
• Able to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, grab, and climb, and satisfy job-related vision testing requirements.
• Basic math, PC, and mechanical skills.
• Experience or knowledge in injection molding or robotics is preferred.
