Injection Molding Technician 3 - Dayshift

What you will do

• Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain injection molding machines and support equipment.
• Perform equipment adjustments, repairs, emergency response, production start-ups, and process troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Support process optimization, equipment reliability improvements, test protocols, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train, certify, and coach technicians on equipment operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and standard procedures.
• Create, review, and maintain operating, maintenance, calibration, training, and technical documentation.
• Use process data and root-cause analysis to reduce variability, improve repeatability, and maintain regulatory, environmental, and safety compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Four to six years of injection molding maintenance, process, or engineering experience required.
• Strong working knowledge of injection molding equipment and process improvement required.
• Effective communication, prioritization, multitasking, technical organization, and team-based execution skills required.
• Ability to work in an indoor manufacturing environment and perform standing, walking, reaching, kneeling, crouching, visual inspection, and light lifting up to 23 pounds.

Nice to have

• Technical certification, qualification, or related technical training.
• Experience in high-volume, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience with PLC systems, electromechanical troubleshooting, robotic and servo systems, safety systems, equipment installation and qualification, production start-up, and process development.
• Experience training others in equipment operation and troubleshooting.
