Maintenance Technician II - 1st Shift

Location: Sussex, Wisconsin, USA; onsite position supporting manufacturing and facility operations

What you will do

• Support and service production lines and facility equipment.
• Perform emergency, routine, preventive, and predictive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, PLC, robotic, hydraulic, and small-engine equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building schematics.
• Replace or repair building mechanical systems, lighting, bathroom fixtures, and other facility components.
• Order parts, coordinate with vendors, maintain 5S practices, and enter preventive-maintenance and work-order information.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience maintaining industrial equipment, automation, or products.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems, implement solutions, and communicate effectively across departments.
• Ability to work from drawings, sketches, blueprints, and schematics.
• Basic PC skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to obtain and maintain certifications for operating service equipment.

Nice to have

• Experience interpreting advanced drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of OSHA, Arc Flash, LOTO, and NEC requirements.
