Setter (APU 1-D)

Location: Buffalo Grove, Illinois, United States; onsite manufacturing role. Work authorization in the United States is required.

Salary: $25.00–$40.00 USD per hour, plus a 10% night-shift differential.

What you will do

• Start up, operate, and monitor injection molding, assembly, packaging, auxiliary, automated, and robotic equipment.
• Load validated machine parameters and programs, align automated systems, and verify production runs meet quality specifications.
• Inspect products, complete line clearances, cycle checklists, traceability records, and quality documentation.
• Pull and set molds, clean injection molds, perform color and material-lot changes, and prepare assembly startup batches.
• Troubleshoot small and medium process issues, respond to equipment alarms, and escalate problems to higher-level setters or maintenance.
• Perform Level 1 total productive maintenance, lockout/tagout, and lean process-improvement activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for 90% of the shift.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, grab, and climb.
• Ability to satisfy the job's vision-testing requirements.
• Basic math, PC, and mechanical skills; injection molding or robotic knowledge is preferred.
