Post Build Specialist DMLS

Location: Raleigh, NC, United States; on-site

What you will do

• Inspect DMLS builds for visible defects and build issues, escalating concerns and creating NCIS tickets when rebuilds are required.
• Clean builds, organize build platforms, and process parts through heat treatment according to established procedures.
• Remove parts from platforms, maintain lot traceability, and transfer parts to the Finishing Department or machine shop for EDM processing.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on bandsaws, furnaces, and powder removal equipment.
• Coordinate throughput, maintenance delays, and work distribution with finishing, machine, laboratory, and scheduling teams.
• Maintain platform inventory, complete checklists and end-of-day duties, restock supplies, and keep the production area safe and clean.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, punctuality, and ability to focus on one task for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and collaborate with supervisors, leads, and other departments.
• Ability to follow printed and computer-screen instructions, use a computer and calculator, and communicate effectively.
• Fluent English reading, writing, and speaking skills required.
• Required PPE includes gloves, lab coats, safety glasses, and steel-toed footwear.
