Machinist Tech - 3rd Shift

Location: Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, United States; onsite, 3rd shift

What you will do

• Perform machining operations on precision parts and materials using manual and computer-assisted equipment.
• Set up, adjust, and change over equipment, including basic program edits when applicable.
• Read blueprints, process sheets, work instructions, and material movement documents.
• Perform in-process inspections, record production and quality results, and maintain traceability.
• Identify out-of-tolerance conditions, take corrective action, and coordinate with quality and support personnel.
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain a clean, safe, organized 5S work area.

Requirements

• Experience operating machining equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and manufacturing documentation.
• Basic knowledge of quality inspection methods and measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, perform repetitive tasks, and move materials within safety guidelines.

Nice to have

• CNC setup and changeover experience.
• Experience editing programs or offsets.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance and continuous improvement practices.
