Setter (APU 3-B)

Location: 600 Deerfield Pkwy, Buffalo Grove, Illinois, United States; onsite manufacturing role

Salary: $25.00–$40.00 USD per hour

What you will do

• Start up, operate, and monitor injection molding, assembly, automated, and robotic equipment.
• Load validated machine parameters and programs, align automated systems, and verify product quality against specifications.
• Pull and set molds, clean injection molds, perform color changes and material lot changes, and complete traceability documentation.
• Troubleshoot small and mid-size process issues, respond to alarms, and escalate problems to Setter Level 2 or Maintenance when needed.
• Perform Level 1 Total Productive Maintenance, line clearances, cycle checklists, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Support lean initiatives, process improvements, ISO standards, GMP, health and safety, and standard work procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lb and stand or walk for 90% of the shift.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, grab, and climb.
• Ability to satisfy job-related vision testing requirements.
• Basic math, PC, and mechanical skills; injection molding or robotic knowledge is preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
