Production Engineer (CNC Machining)

Location: Natchitoches, Louisiana, USA. On-site role supporting high-volume machining operations.

What you will do

• Own CNC machining processes, including equipment, tooling, workholding, programming, and process documentation.
• Provide technical support for production, tooling, and equipment issues by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Develop process improvements that increase throughput, improve quality, reduce downtime, and lower manufacturing costs.
• Track and improve safety, quality, OEE, scrap, downtime, and throughput metrics.
• Modify and troubleshoot CNC, PLC, and robotic equipment and programs.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Quality teams and support Lean manufacturing initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and manufacturing experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and computer skills.
• Experience or knowledge related to manufacturing processes, root cause analysis, and structured problem-solving.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship will not be provided.

Nice to have

• Five years of production engineering experience in a high-volume machining environment.
• Experience with CNC equipment, tooling, workholding, Allen-Bradley PLC software, CNC controls, and FANUC robotics.
• Experience with capital equipment installation, start-up, process validation, statistical analysis, and Lean manufacturing.
