Director of Operations - Packaging & Retail Facility (Manufacturing)

Location: St. Charles, Illinois, USA; onsite facility operations role

Salary: USD 117,700–188,400 annually

What you will do

• Lead and manage packaging and retail facility operations, personnel, service delivery, and departmental priorities.
• Coach, mentor, evaluate, and develop supervisors and direct reports.
• Manage continuous improvement initiatives, operational processes, quality objectives, and customer requirements.
• Oversee facilities coordination, industrial engineering, production, warehouse management, and system maintenance functions.
• Manage operating budgets, analyze reports, and oversee full facility P&L performance.
• Work with the Site Manager to align incoming work with facility capabilities and ensure accurate processing and billing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Management, Engineering, Graphic Arts, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of diversified management experience in the printing industry, with demonstrated success leading a facility.
• Strong knowledge of facility operations, supply chain management systems, planning techniques, budgeting, and management principles.
• Proven experience managing a full facility P&L.
• Effective communication, conflict resolution, organization, and leadership skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, email, and Internet Explorer.
