What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance APIs, web applications, and inventory management services.
• Build scalable and reliable solutions using Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Oracle, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Develop interfaces with internal systems, technology teams, and external vendor applications.
• Contribute to continuous integration, continuous delivery, cloud migration, test-driven development, and automated release processes.
• Investigate defects, troubleshoot production issues, and participate in rotating 24x7 product support.
• Collaborate with business, infrastructure, security, and Scrum teams through requirements, design, coding, testing, and launch.

Requirements

• Onsite role in Seattle, United States.
• At least 1 year of professional experience and a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful services, microservices, JSON, XML, and backend relational or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Amazon AWS is required.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, testing tools, Kafka or SQS, Scrum or other agile methodologies, and software design patterns.
• Strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Experience with Oracle Retail Merchandising Applications, including RMS, RIB, or SIM.
• Experience contributing to open-source projects.
