Senior Claims Analyst (Casualty and Environmental Liability Claims)

Location: Remote - Massachusetts

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annual

What you will do

• Investigate, analyze, evaluate, document, and report on complex casualty and environmental liability claims.
• Assess coverage, liability, and damages across environmental insurance products.
• Make coverage determinations and draft written positions for insureds and other required parties.
• Set and manage reserves while developing early, cost-effective resolution strategies.
• Manage litigation and external counsel, including planning, budgeting, bill review, and payment.
• Represent the company in management and carrier meetings, mediations, and trials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; JD preferred.
• 3–5 years of related experience handling liability or cleanup claims, or working in a legal position.
• Experience with complex auto liability is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication, coverage analysis, and drafting skills.
• Ability to review and evaluate technical, legal, and medical information.
• Strong relationship-building, organizational, problem-solving, time-management, and independent-working skills.
