Credit Analyst (Financial Services)

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid with three days per week in the office

Salary: $75,000–$90,000 base salary per year, plus annual bonus target

What you will do

• Support the Private Banking Credit Team with credit administration under the supervision of the Chief Credit Officer.
• Compile Credit Committee meeting minutes and maintain the schedule of annual and quarterly reviews.
• Administer BBH’s role as syndication agent or participant, including onboarding virtual data rooms and uploading financial and legal documentation.
• Maintain organized credit files and borrower documentation in the Credit Files database.
• Monitor lending relationships, assess potential risks, and analyze the underlying dynamics of the loan portfolio.
• Develop analytical tools and support portfolio management projects involving analysis and recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2–4 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of financial statement analysis.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels.
• Superior oral and written communication skills.
