Environmental Health & Safety Intern (Semiconductors)

Location: Malta, New York, USA; onsite internship

Salary: $20.00–$40.00 per hour

What you will do

• Conduct hazard communication assessments, document observations, and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Perform confined-space reassessments and update space documentation, communications, and signage.
• Complete area- and task-specific hazard assessments to support continuous EHS&S improvements.
• Assist with ionizing radiation inspections.
• Perform all activities safely and support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security programs and requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least a sophomore at the time of application and actively pursue a bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health & Safety or a related field through an accredited program during the internship.
• Maintain an overall GPA of at least 3.0 and good academic standing.
• English fluency required for written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Previous related internship or co-op experience.
• Leadership experience in the workplace, academic projects, or competitions.
• Project management, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
