Contract Binding Intern - Summer 2027

What you will do

• Review insurance applications and supporting documents.
• Evaluate new and renewal business against coverage criteria.
• Assess potential risks and classify them appropriately.
• Rate policies, calculate premiums, and prepare quotes.
• Support the Contract Binding team with additional assigned duties.

Requirements

• Must be actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in risk management and insurance.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks.
• Ability to identify, assess, and manage risks.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, communication, prioritization, and time-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience reviewing applications, evaluating risks, and assessing pricing, terms, and conditions.
• Knowledge of General Liability, Property, and other common insurance products.
