Senior Manager, DevOps and AI Enablement

Location: Hybrid role based in Palo Alto, California, with onsite work one day per week; remote work is available from anywhere in the United States.

Salary: $269,800–$298,200 annual base salary in the San Francisco Bay Area, plus potential equity, benefits, and perks.

What you will do

• Lead the infrastructure platform and shared-services organization across DevOps, SRE, reliability, delivery, and cloud foundations.
• Own CI/CD, Terraform-based infrastructure-as-code, AWS/GCP/Azure platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, release tooling, observability, incident management, security, and SOC 2 compliance.
• Build and run the AI Enablement function as a central hub for sanctioned tooling, guardrails, reusable components, and complex implementations.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Finance, HR, IT, Security, and lending operations to design LLM agents, tool-calling systems, RAG solutions, workflow orchestration, and integrations.
• Drive adoption by defining success metrics and measuring outcomes such as capacity reclaimed, cycle time, cost per loan, and usage stickiness.
• Set multi-quarter roadmaps, technical standards, architecture guidance, and quality expectations while growing the engineering organization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, platform, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
• 3+ years leading and growing engineering teams, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
• Production experience shipping AI automations with LLM agents, tool calling, RAG, and workflow orchestration.
• Production proficiency with Terraform, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong observability and incident-management experience, plus technical fluency in Python or an equivalent language.
• Experience with regulated industries, PII handling, SOC 2, process improvement, RPA, lending, or mortgage operations.
