IT Manager, Architecture - SAP

Location: Berlin, Connecticut, United States; hybrid schedule with at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Must be available to work up to five days in the office when required and travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire as necessary.

Annual salary: $169,740–$188,600, plus potential incentive.

What you will do

• Define and drive the SAP architecture roadmap for the Finance and Accounting Reinvention program.
• Lead end-to-end solution architecture across SAP S/4HANA Finance, FI/CO, general ledger, payables, receivables, asset accounting, controlling, reporting, and integrations.
• Translate business requirements into scalable architecture designs with Finance, Accounting, Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, Data, Infrastructure, vendors, and system integrators.
• Guide fit-gap analysis, process harmonization, design decisions, integration patterns, data migration, reporting architecture, and control requirements.
• Provide technical and functional leadership through blueprinting, build, testing, cutover, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Manage architecture governance, design reviews, risks, dependencies, and cross-functional escalations while mentoring architecture and technical teams.

Requirements

• 10–12 years of progressive IT experience, including significant SAP finance architecture, solution design, and enterprise transformation experience.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP FI/CO, financial accounting, controlling, reporting, integrations, and data migration.
• Experience delivering large-scale finance or ERP transformation programs from strategy and design through implementation and stabilization.
• Experience working with Finance and Accounting leaders, system integrators, vendors, business process owners, architecture review boards, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams.
• Strong understanding of governance, internal controls, audit requirements, financial close processes, enterprise reporting, compliance, data quality, performance, and resiliency.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
