What you will do

• Define and maintain enterprise architecture strategies, technology standards, reference architectures, design patterns, and technology-selection guidelines.
• Own the enterprise application portfolio map and architecture repository, including system relationships, integration dependencies, and lifecycle status.
• Govern application and IT architecture standards covering microservices, event-driven architecture, domain-driven design, API-first development, identity and access management, endpoint management, and network segmentation.
• Provide architectural oversight for major platform and application initiatives, including monolith modernization and cloud-native solutions.
• Identify architectural risks, technical debt, integration gaps, security issues, and compliance requirements through audits and technical reviews.
• Partner with engineering, product, security, infrastructure, domain architecture, and solution teams; mentor engineers and architects and communicate recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience, with the role description also requesting 10+ years in software engineering or architecture and enterprise-scale system design.
• Deep knowledge of microservices, APIs, cloud-native architecture, and event-driven architecture patterns.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience governing enterprise portfolios across SaaS, custom, and legacy systems and driving technology rationalization at scale.
• Experience introducing emerging technologies, including AI/GenAI architecture, and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a technical or analytical discipline.
• Experience in regulated or mission-critical environments such as utilities, energy, finance, or infrastructure.
