Senior Manager, Software Engineering Transformation (AI)

Salary: $185,000–$210,000 per year, plus bonus or incentive opportunities

What you will do

• Lead high-performing software engineering teams focused on application quality, resiliency, performance, and long-term sustainability.
• Use AI-driven analysis to identify technology risks, technical debt, and modernization opportunities.
• Build scalable engineering practices and repeatable delivery frameworks that improve developer productivity and delivery speed.
• Drive application modernization, automation, observability, automated testing, and operational excellence across enterprise platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering organizations and cross-functional stakeholders to influence technical strategy and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including leadership of high-performing development teams.
• Experience improving software quality, resiliency, performance, and operational excellence across complex enterprise applications.
• Strong knowledge of cloud architectures, CI/CD practices, automated testing, observability, and application modernization.
• Experience using AI-enabled engineering capabilities to improve software development, code quality, modernization, or developer productivity.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence technical strategy, and build engineering organizations combining AI-driven analysis with execution.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Hands-on software development experience and strong knowledge of coding practices, application architecture, and modern engineering standards.
• Experience with AI-enabled software development, modernization, automation, or developer productivity initiatives.
• Knowledge of emerging AI engineering frameworks and agent-based workflows in enterprise environments.
• Experience leading large-scale modernization, resiliency, technical debt reduction, or engineering transformation programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
