Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site at the NYC office in Manhattan, United States

Salary: $175K–$230K per year, plus equity

hirify.global is a Series B fintech company building an AI-native wealth management platform for independent financial advisors.

What you will do

• Take product problems from discovery through production in partnership with Product, Design, and engineering.
• Work directly with financial advisors and internal operations teams to identify friction, reduce manual work, and improve client experiences.
• Use AI coding agents and other AI tools to accelerate development, experimentation, and delivery.
• Help determine which problems and solutions are worth building through roadmap planning, prototyping, and product execution.
• Own outcomes and company-level OKRs while maintaining strong follow-through.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to build things, such as side projects, launched products, or business experiments.
• Strong AI-enabled engineering fundamentals, including the ability to use AI to write and debug code and evaluate its output.
• An AI-first development workflow with hands-on experimentation using tools such as Codex and Claude.
• High agency, independent investigation skills, clear communication, and reliable follow-through.
• Interest in understanding customers, business value, and how products create enterprise impact.
• Collaborative, coachable approach and willingness to spend approximately 18 months learning before pursuing a founder opportunity.

Nice to have

• Experience finding users for a product, incorporating user feedback, or convincing users to pay.
• Experience building AI-powered features, agents, or automations that eliminate entire classes of work.
