About the Role

You will lead an engineering team developing SaaS and hybrid multi-tenant products. You will recruit and develop engineers, contribute through design and code reviews, manage investments, define product requirements with product management, and help resolve production issues.

Requirements

• Experience hiring and leading engineers
• Experience leading Agile teams and planning processes
• CI/CD commercial cloud architecture and delivery experience
• At least 2 years leading Software as a Service teams and processes
• At least 5 years directly managing development teams and delivering commercial products
• Ability to coordinate product development product management and customer services
• Expertise in Java Cassandra Kafka Amazon Web Services and Kubernetes or an equivalent enterprise-grade software stack
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team of eight developers
• Manage recruitment training and team development
• Conduct design and code reviews
• Contribute to the codebase
• Forecast allocate and manage capital and people investments
• Work with product management to define product requirements
• Support rapid responses to production issues
• Participate in on-call coverage when required
