Vice President, Product and Design (AI/Fintech)

Location: 900 Sylvan Avenue, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, United States. Unrestricted work authorization in the United States is required; external candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview.

Salary: $310,000–$340,000 yearly, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Craft product strategy for CNBC’s digital products with executive stakeholders.
• Generate, test, and validate feature ideas using consumer research, data, and user insights.
• Build and communicate an ambitious product roadmap.
• Hire, coach, motivate, and performance-manage product managers and product designers.
• Coordinate product roadmaps with technology teams, balancing new capabilities, technical debt, and bug fixes.
• Improve product and design quality while integrating AI into requirements, specification, and workflow practices.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of product management experience, including at least 5 years leading product and design teams.
• Experience driving product planning, roadmaps, and new product launches.
• Experience with web, mobile, or OTT products in retail investing, fintech, consumer products, media, or publishing.
• Deep understanding of retail investor products, tools, competitors, and customer needs.
• Experience building AI features, including chatbots and LLM-based summarization or insights.
• Experience with personalized experiences such as content recommendations and personalized alerts.

Nice to have

• Experience with subscription businesses, fintech, retail investing, or media.
• Experience advising senior executives on complex product problems and roadmap prioritization.
• Bachelor’s degree; MBA is a plus.
