Product Manager, Design Systems (Fintech)

Location: San Francisco, CA, USA. The in-office policy requires four days per week in the office and Fridays from home for employees near an office; a fully remote program is also available.

Base salary: $196,000–$255,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for design-system capabilities within the AI & App Experience team.
• Partner with Product Design and Engineering to evolve shared components, patterns, tooling, and infrastructure.
• Improve how product teams discover, adopt, and contribute to the design system while balancing consistency and flexibility.
• Translate internal product-builder needs into priorities, requirements, and measurable outcomes.
• Drive alignment and tradeoffs across shared platform, product, and experience-quality needs.
• Define success measures using adoption, effectiveness, experience consistency, and business-impact signals, including relevant AI opportunities.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Product Management experience.
• Experience owning complex products, platforms, or internal systems from strategy through execution in a technology environment.
• Experience with design systems, developer platforms, UI frameworks, shared product infrastructure, or similar horizontal capabilities.
• Ability to turn ambiguous cross-functional problems into product strategy, prioritized roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
• Strong partnership experience with Product Design and Engineering, including fluency in component architecture, platform constraints, user experience tradeoffs, and implementation decisions.
• Experience driving adoption across multiple teams and using data, research, and user feedback to prioritize investments.
