Junior Security Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: Norman, Oklahoma, United States; work is primarily performed in an office/warehouse setting.

Salary: $48,200–$60,000 per year

What you will do

• Operate and maintain enterprise security solutions, tools, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software, and secure configuration baselines.
• Analyze security events, logs, alerts, malicious email reports, and threat intelligence to identify potential breaches and recommend resolutions.
• Participate in incident response, investigations, documentation, remediation, and coordination with a third-party SOC, cyber insurance vendors, and internal teams.
• Assist with vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, security audits, risk assessments, and the development of appropriate controls.
• Support the creation and maintenance of security policies, standards, procedures, patching schedules, continuity plans, and disaster recovery plans.
• Help deliver security awareness training, compliance reports, end-user support, and security solution improvements.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S.-born or naturalized citizen due to federal government requirements.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 0–3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least one of the following certifications: CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, GIAC Information Security Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator: Security, or Associate of (ISC)2.
• Ability to provide on-call support for security solutions, potentially 24/7.

Nice to have

• CCST Cybersecurity or Networking certification.
• CompTIA CySA certification.
