SOC Operations Analyst Mid (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Monitor computer networks for security issues and investigate cybersecurity incidents.
• Document security breaches, assess damage, and recommend remediation and security best practices.
• Test networks for vulnerabilities, including penetration testing, and resolve detected issues.
• Install and maintain security measures such as firewalls and data encryption programs.
• Perform forensic analysis, create sound file duplicates, decrypt data, and examine recovered information.
• Support real-time cyber defense and deployable Incident Response Teams.

Requirements

• Top Secret security clearance with the ability to sit for the CI Poly.
• Bachelor's degree, BS or BA.
• At least five years of overall experience.
• Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security.
• Ability to perform forensic, timeline, statistical, and file signature analysis.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel.
• GIAC certifications such as GMON, GCIH, GCFA, GCIA, or GNFA.
