Eligibility Research Representative I (Seasonal - Remote)

Location: Remote within the United States; work from home in a designated area with a reliable internet connection of at least 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.

What you will do

• Research and resolve member eligibility verification requests using eligibility files, communication logs, health plan websites, and phone calls.
• Process MNA, customer service, claims, and ASHLink research within required turnaround times.
• Update member and group records, communication logs, ASHCore logs, IHIS records, and ASHLink logs.
• Make follow-up calls to providers and members and transfer non-eligibility inquiries to the appropriate queues.
• Maintain confidentiality, customer service quality, productivity, and accuracy standards.
• Attend staff meetings, support peer mentoring, and assist with other department functions as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• At least one year of experience with 10-key operation, typing, and computer skills.
• Typing performance of 8,000 keystrokes per hour.
• Excellent customer service, listening, interpersonal, organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to meet a minimum productivity target and maintain at least 98% accuracy.
• Must be able to work from home in the United States with a reliable internet connection and participate in video meetings.

Nice to have

• Experience with claims processing or eligibility verification.
• Experience making outbound calls.
