What you will do

• Design, implement, debug, test, and release production embedded firmware for consumer and home appliance products.
• Develop device control, OTA functionality, differentiated product features, hardware abstraction layers, shared drivers, and core firmware components.
• Implement reference architectures and platform components for reuse across product categories.
• Bring up firmware on target hardware and debug hardware-software integration issues with Hardware Engineering.
• Review and integrate partner-developed firmware against defined interfaces, architecture, and engineering standards.
• Maintain CI pipelines, static analysis, test harnesses, build reproducibility, and release-quality code coverage.

Requirements

• 5+ years of embedded software and firmware development experience with shipped commercial products.
• Strong embedded C and C++ experience on resource-constrained platforms, including RTOS, microcontroller peripherals, drivers, and low-level hardware interfaces.
• Experience implementing hardware abstraction layers, platform-portable components, motor control, sensor and actuator integration, and power management.
• Experience with Git workflows, CI builds using GCC and CMake, unit testing with Ceedling or an equivalent tool, and static analysis.
• Ability to debug target hardware using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG/SWD, and trace tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline required.

Nice to have

• Experience in consumer electronics, home appliances, robotics, or other high-volume products.
• Experience with embedded CI/CD, automated testing, build infrastructure, or external development partner code integration.
