Software Engineer I (Embedded C/C++)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain embedded software features for wireless radio platforms.
• Design, implement, test, and debug C/C++ firmware for resource-constrained microcontrollers.
• Support radio-control capabilities including transmission, reception, power management, timing, and diagnostics.
• Collaborate with hardware, radio design, SDK, validation, and applications engineering teams.
• Investigate software and hardware integration issues using debuggers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
• Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, automated testing, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Academic or project experience developing embedded software in C or C++.
• Understanding of wireless communication concepts such as RF, modulation, packet-based communication, or digital signal processing.
• Familiarity with microcontrollers, embedded peripherals, interrupts, memory-constrained systems, and real-time software.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, debugging, and technical communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and turn requirements into well-tested software.

Nice to have

• Experience with embedded firmware, wireless systems, IoT devices, or bare-metal development.
• Exposure to Bluetooth Low Energy, Zigbee, Thread, Wi-Fi, proprietary wireless, or multiprotocol systems.
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages for test automation, data analysis, or development tooling.
• Knowledge of RTOS concepts, device drivers, bootloaders, power optimization, embedded security, Git, CI/CD, or hardware-in-the-loop testing.
