Underwriting Support Specialist, Marine Personal Lines

What you will do

• Support underwriters by gathering information from agents, brokers, and business partners.
• Serve as a point of contact for agents and brokers, answer questions, resolve low-complexity issues, and process transactions that do not require underwriter sign-off.
• Track outstanding underwriting items, maintain follow-up systems, and ensure complete and accurate documentation.
• Attach forms and process policy changes under underwriter direction.
• Follow internal procedures, service standards, and compliance requirements while managing multiple workflows.
• Participate in problem-solving and continuous-improvement initiatives, special projects, and team operations.

Requirements

• Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Willingness to work toward the AINS insurance designation.
