Claims Analyst (Automotive)

Location: Dearborn, MI, USA; onsite at the MSXI office

What you will do

• Review dealer-submitted claims for accuracy according to the applicable claim type.
• Provide claim-entry support and resolve questions for internal staff, dealers, field personnel, and OEM representatives.
• Troubleshoot rejected claims, respond to related inquiries, and charge back unauthorized or incorrect claims to dealers.
• Evaluate whether manufacturer warranties, extended plans, or other OEM program coverage apply to vehicle repairs.
• Develop and maintain basic program reports and contact fleet customers about claims exceeding specified dollar thresholds.
• Assist with documenting claim-entry procedures, processes, and reference materials.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of claims experience.
• Prior OEM claim-entry experience and warranty-coverage review experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and reliable follow-up.
• Entry-level proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to balance changing priorities and provide status reports as requested.

Nice to have

• Associate degree preferred but not required.
