Content Management Consultant (CPA/Audit/Financial Reporting)

Location: Remote in the United States, based in Illinois

Salary: $76,200–$133,650 USD per year, plus bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Research, interpret, and update accounting, auditing, and financial reporting guidance in line with professional standards.
• Write publication-ready summaries, explanations, interpretations, news articles, white papers, and other customer-facing content.
• Develop and enhance content for the Accounting and Auditing section of CCH AnswerConnect.
• Analyze standards and proposals from the AICPA, PCAOB, GAO, FASB, GASB, IASB, and other standard-setting bodies.
• Respond to customer inquiries and review work products for quality, accuracy, and completeness.
• Conduct competitive analysis, support marketing initiatives, and advise management on specialized accounting and auditing topics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA certification.
• Minimum five years of experience in public accounting and financial reporting.
• Expertise in audit and attest services and financial reporting.
• Three years of professional writing experience, including the ability to produce final publication-ready content with minimal oversight.
• Strong critical thinking, research, communication, organization, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and collaboratively, and lead complex cross-functional projects.

Nice to have

• Experience with PCAOB, SEC, or GAGAS standards.
• Experience advising on advanced and broad-ranging products.
