Forward Deployed Product Design Lead (AI)

What you will do

• Turn complex client and user challenges into clear product models, workflows, priorities, and interfaces.
• Lead experience strategy, product design, research, information architecture, service design, accessibility, and design systems.
• Create sophisticated interactive and coded prototypes using real or representative data, including AI-assisted development tools.
• Design complete workflows covering roles, handoffs, data, permissions, exceptions, edge cases, and failure states.
• Translate experience intent into flows, behaviors, content guidance, accessibility requirements, acceptance criteria, and implementation context.
• Collaborate directly with clients, product leaders, users, and engineers through implementation, design QA, release, and iteration.

Requirements

• Significant experience designing and delivering complex digital products in consulting, enterprise, B2B, or workflow-heavy environments.
• A portfolio of shipped products showing meaningful involvement from early product framing through production.
• Strong proficiency with Figma and modern prototyping approaches.
• Experience creating coded prototypes or production interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, and frameworks such as React.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
• Working knowledge of component libraries, responsive design, APIs, data models, version control, modern software delivery, and collaboration with engineering teams.

• Experience with AI-enabled or data-intensive products and human-AI interaction.
• Experience navigating existing codebases and contributing production-quality frontend work.
• Experience with agentic development workflows and designing context for AI coding agents.
• Experience improving shipped products through analytics, user feedback, and operational signals.
• Experience across greenfield and brownfield products or supporting client pursuits with rapid concepts and prototypes.
