Specialist, Lifecycle Management & Modelcare (Automotive)

Location: Novi, Michigan, United States; 4–5 days per week in the office. Regular in-person meetings, company events, and occasional travel are required.

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Coordinate and track life-cycle-related requests across concept, development, launch, and series production.
• Prepare, validate, and refine business case inputs for product updates, component strategy changes, and life-cycle decisions.
• Align engineering, purchasing, production, quality, logistics, finance, program management, and product planning stakeholders.
• Define and maintain life-cycle requirements, ensuring traceability from program objectives to engineering, manufacturing, and service needs.
• Prepare executive decision papers and represent life-cycle topics in governance forums.
• Improve life-cycle processes, governance workflows, documentation standards, and stakeholder collaboration while coaching teams on best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5–7 years of experience in an automotive environment, preferably in change coordination or program management.
• Experience contributing to automotive projects from concept phase through series production.
• Strong project management, communication, presentation, strategic thinking, decision-making, and technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple project teams, guide cross-functional stakeholders, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work onsite in Novi, Michigan, 4–5 days per week and travel occasionally.
