Technical Program Manager (Cyber), Public Sector

Location: Columbia, MD or Washington, DC; onsite with the customer in the Columbia area 4 days per week and travel at least 25% of the time

Salary: $199,200–$249,000 USD base salary for the Washington, DC location

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional teams delivering AI/ML objectives for public-sector customers.
• Manage the end-to-end creation and delivery of datasets evaluating cyber-domain model performance, including malicious network traffic, cryptographic systems, adversarial LLM prompts, threat intelligence, and cyber ethics.
• Oversee deployment and tracking of hirify.global software in customer environments and systems.
• Own account and project plans, onboarding, implementation, execution, and issue triage.
• Manage relationships from executives to end users and partner with customer engineering teams to resolve operational issues.
• Identify customer needs and advocate for product fixes with hirify.global engineers.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret security clearance with polygraph required.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience within or in collaboration with government institutions.
• Deep knowledge of network activity, ethical hacking, cybersecurity preparedness, and cyber incidents.
• Technical degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong cross-functional influence, emotional intelligence, communication, presentation, diligence, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work onsite with the customer in the Columbia, MD area four days per week and travel at least 25% of the time.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of program management, operations, or customer-facing experience.
• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience within or in collaboration with a government institution.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Experience deploying software into secure cloud infrastructure.
• Understanding of MLOps and generative AI workflows or products.
