Sr. Electrical Technician (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Build aircraft subsystem integration test labs.
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, electrical symbols, and component documentation.
• Repair and replace aircraft subsystem components in a laboratory environment.
• Fabricate and ring out wiring harnesses to aerospace industry standards.
• Maintain documentation for lab modifications, repairs, and upgrades.
• Inspect technician work, troubleshoot integration issues, and ensure conformity with design specifications.

Requirements

• Five years of experience as an electrical technician in aviation, aerospace, or a similar industry.
• Strong technical expertise in avionics and aircraft subsystem operation and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience cutting, splicing, and crimping wires to fabricate various harness types.
• Ability to replace subsystem components and maintain a high standard of technical quality.
• Safety-conscious approach to laboratory work and ability to set a strong technical example.

Nice to have

• Experience maintaining or modifying certified aircraft.
• A&P license or Inspection Authorization (IA).
• Experience with FAA type certification and conformity test setups.
• Familiarity with high-voltage systems.
