What you will do

  • Provide full on-site maintenance support for flight and functional check flight operations.
  • Perform maintenance test flights, fault isolation, troubleshooting, and organizational/intermediate-level maintenance.
  • Support testing of aircraft, aviation systems, and associated support equipment.
  • Manage contractor pilot and non-rated crewmember flight records.
  • Inspect and evaluate aircraft, components, parts, products, and raw materials for conformity with approved specifications and quality standards.
  • Provide technical assistance to determine corrective actions for maintenance problems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • FAA A&P license, or completion of an MH/AH-6 military aircraft repairer school or civilian MDHI 530-series helicopter program.
  • At least 7 years of aircraft maintenance experience, or 4 years of verifiable rotary-wing Army Aviation RDT&E experience.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and must have or be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Experience with safety, documentation, HAZMAT, training, licenses and certifications, scheduling, production control, and management.
  • Ability to apply analytical skills, quality assurance principles, and technical procedures.
