Manufacturing Technician (Aerospace)

Location: South Burlington, Vermont, United States; onsite work with varying shifts and hours

Salary: $26–$34 USD per hour

What you will do

• Fabricate, modify, assemble, install, and repair composite parts and tooling.
• Produce electric aircraft and related equipment alongside engineers and technicians.
• Work in either the Composite Layup Technician or Airframe Assembly Technician track, based on evaluated qualifications and skills.
• Read and follow blueprints and work instructions with precise attention to detail.
• Handle small parts and components while maintaining strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when required.

Requirements

• Hands-on ability to build, repair, modify, and work with tools or machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions accurately.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity in both hands.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and perform standing, walking, climbing, bending, reaching, kneeling, and crouching.
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments with variable temperatures, humidity, noise, fumes, airborne particles, and hazardous chemicals while using required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to work varying shifts and hours; employment offers are contingent on a background check, and the employer participates in E-Verify.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing, aviation, or a related field.
• Experience operating material-handling equipment.
