Packaging Line Coordinator - 3rd Shift

Location: Kalamazoo, Michigan, United States; on-premise. Third shift is 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.; weekend, holiday, overtime, and other shifts may be required based on business needs. Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the United States.

Salary: $20.07–$33.45 per hour, plus potential overtime, weekend, holiday, and other schedule-based pay premiums.

What you will do

• Coordinate and lead manual and automated packaging-line operations, including changeovers, minor setup activities, and production starts.
• Perform line cleaning, clearance, visual inspections, process checks, quality checks, and material and finished-goods reconciliation.
• Monitor production output and adjust equipment to maintain efficient operation.
• Complete GMP documentation, batch records, line logs, maintenance logs, and electronic entries in SAP, AMPs/EBR, Serialization, and WPM.
• Troubleshoot equipment, conduct safety and area audits, and complete LOTO and required training activities.
• Direct, train, and mentor colleagues and temporary contract workers while maintaining effective shift handoffs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to understand SOPs, GMP/cGMP requirements, and batch records, with competent math and reading skills.
• Ability to follow written, oral, and diagram-based instructions and perform under demanding conditions.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment operation.
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States is required; U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift up to 42 pounds, and perform manual packaging with good dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Nice to have

• Pharmaceutical or manufacturing experience and knowledge of GMP.
• Familiarity with automated packaging equipment.
• Problem-solving, communication, independent-work, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Basic familiarity with AI tools and interest in using them to improve productivity.
