Salary: $100,300–$153,600 per year

What you will do

  • Lead production quality coverage for bottling, mobile bottling, third-party bottling, and rework operations.
  • Direct startup quality activities, validations, in-process checks, inspections, sampling plans, and final product releases.
  • Lead root cause investigations, non-conformance reporting, holds, releases, rework plans, and quality KPI reporting.
  • Manage supplier qualification, audits, performance monitoring, corrective actions, contract manufacturing relationships, and continuous improvement.
  • Support food safety programs, including hazard analysis, risk management, sanitation verification, environmental monitoring, and contamination prevention.
  • Lead, coach, and develop quality personnel while managing budgets, capital requests, and resource planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, engineering, business administration, quality assurance, statistics, or a related science field.
  • At least 7 years of progressive experience in quality, food safety, laboratory operations, beverage, winery, brewery, distilled spirits, or food manufacturing environments.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading quality teams.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards, quality systems, process controls, beverage manufacturing, root cause analysis, CAPA, risk assessment, and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of FDA, FSMA, TTB, OSHA, GMP, HACCP, and applicable food safety standards.
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor environments, handle loads up to 55 pounds, and travel up to 30% of the time.

Nice to have

  • Experience managing wine production and packaging quality.
  • ASQ, CQE, CQM/OE, HACCP, or Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience with supplier audits, sensory science, SPC, data analytics, environmental monitoring, or contamination prevention.
  • Knowledge of global food safety and export requirements.
