Project Manager-Senior

Salary: $87,633–$128,689 per year, depending on compensation grade.

What you will do

• Plan, execute, monitor, control, and close intermediate and complex projects in a matrix team environment.
• Manage project and outage plans, schedules, budgets, funding, cost control, and project reporting.
• Lead stakeholder communications, planning meetings, status updates, and project presentations.
• Coordinate project teams, operating company staff, customers, contractors, vendors, suppliers, and partners.
• Develop procurement plans, manage external-service contracts, evaluate bids, negotiate agreements, and oversee vendor performance.
• Mentor project managers, supervise assigned sub-team managers, and drive safety, quality, risk management, and project closeout activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, project management, computer science, or a related field with five years of qualified experience; equivalent associate degree or high school diploma pathways are available with additional experience.
• Two years of experience as a Project Manager or demonstrated equivalent project management competencies.
• Progressively increasing responsibility in project management, major construction, project estimating, project controls, project engineering, or a comparable production environment.
• Knowledge of construction safety, negotiations, scope and cost control, construction contracting, reporting, quality control, and risk management.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Experience in utilities, commercial nuclear power, or IT systems is favorable.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• Prior experience as a Project Manager Associate or Project Manager.
