Cost Manager, PMO (Nuclear Energy)

Location: Bellevue, Washington, United States; travel required 0–10%. The role involves physical activities including prolonged sitting and repetitive work, with the ability to safely lift up to 25 pounds.

Salary: $163,423.92–$217,898.56 per year; the range is specific to Washington State.

What you will do

• Develop and oversee project cost baselines, budgets, forecasts, and detailed cost estimates.
• Track and report cost performance using Cost Performance Index and Earned Value Management practices.
• Lead risk analyses, mitigation strategies, and risk trending across multiple advanced nuclear projects.
• Assess cost impacts of project change requests with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Standardize cost management tools, templates, and processes across the organization.
• Mentor and train estimators, cost engineers, and risk managers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in cost management, estimating, and risk analysis.
• 5+ years managing staff in cost management, risk management, or project controls.
• Experience controlling a first-of-a-kind project exceeding $100 million, spanning multiple years and involving multidisciplinary teams of 100+ people.
• Proficiency with cost management tools such as COBRA and scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Expertise in Earned Value Management, risk management plans, complex data analysis, and stakeholder collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
